At TWIN, our commitment to advancing sport ecosystems extends directly into the classroom. For many years, we have been teaching at the University of Salzburg.
Since 2016, TWIN CEO Wolfgang Stockinger holds a lectureship on “European Sport Policy & Sport Organisation” in the master’s degree programme Sports-Management-Media. In addition, he teaches the subject “Organisation & Policy in Sport” within the university’s academic programme in Sports Journalism.
Empowering tomorrow’s sport leaders
Sport is a powerful societal driver, but leading it requires systemic thinking and structural knowledge. Our teaching ambition is clear: to equip upcoming professionals in Austria with the perspective and tools needed to shape the sector by connecting socio-economic frameworks and European sports policy with real-world practice.
“The education of young academics on the multilayer impact of sport is a crucial factor for future policy steps on regional, national, and European levels. Our lectures focus on helping students comprehend systemic and political contexts around recent developments in sport.”
Wolfgang Stockinger
CEO ⋅ TWIN
By linking academic rigor with industry practice, TWIN remains dedicated to nurturing the talent that will communicate, manage, and transform Austria’s sports landscape tomorrow.
