Our work at TWIN has always been driven by the belief that sport is one of the most powerful catalysts for societal growth. However, the complex challenges of the 21st century—ranging from athlete wellbeing, gender equality to systemic integrity—require more than individual effort; they require a synchronized, international response. This is why we are delighted to announce our high-level support for the newly etablished Expert Network for Sport and Societal Development (ENOSS).
The non-profit organisation ENOSS is the result of years of informal collaboration between European experts. The network’s roots trace back to a shared vision of uniting international specialists to unlock systemic impact at European, national, and regional levels through the synergy of sport, education, and research.

ENOSS’ stated mission is to “advance the role of sport in a modern Europe”. The network strives to unlock deep systemic impact across three key pillars:

Education and training: Empowering athletes and their entourage with competencies for life beyond the field.

Applied research: Transforming data into evidence-based solutions for policy change and organizational innovation.
Expertise for a shared mission
TWIN’s objectives overlap significantly with the core values of ENOSS; particularly in areas like safe sport, gender equality, athlete care, or dual career. To manifest this alignment, we are proud to share that two of our core team members will be contributing their knowledge to the network.
TWIN CEO Wolfgang Stockinger—former initiator of the preceding European Network of Sport Schools—and TWIN consultant Ruan Schlebusch will serve as associate experts for ENOSS on a pro-bono basis. As such, together with other international experts, they will support ENOSS in tackling the multifaceted demands of the evolving sporting landscape, ensuring that European sport remains a safe, inclusive, and sustainable ecosystem for the next generation.
Why this matters
For us, backing ENOSS is a purpose-driven choice to strengthen the European Sport Model. By contributing to this central hub of multidisciplinary experts, we help ensure that the latest research and practical “on-the-ground” experience can be translated into collective action at a European level.
